Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios have revealed details of their previously teased historical titles, first revealed in last year’s Game Awards and codenamed Project Century. In the trailer shown at the Summer 2025 Game Fest, RGG revealed that the game is called a more stranger than heaven. The title doesn’t reveal details about the game’s release date or platform, but it gave us a glimpse into the action gameplay.
The main character of the game, who names it as Mako of Daito, looks like some sort of Subterfuge agent. He means that he may not be Japanese and has impressive blue eyes that stand out in character art. The trailer description does not reveal any details except that it offers a “again glimpse into the game’s world.”
The teaser gives a glimpse into the neon-lit environment of Tokyo in the 1940s and Daito’s work as a detective. He can clearly investigate La Noir-style items and evidence, and defeat thugs on the shady corners of the city. One shot of the gameplay shows that Daito can show mercy (or not) to some of those thugs.
