Donald Trump is receiving even more support from Hispanic voters now than he did in 2020. This makes sense, given that he received higher support from Hispanic voters then, too.
What has changed since then? Millions of illegal immigrants are crossing the southern border, and Hispanic voters trust Trump more than Harris on these issues.
Harris still has an edge on some issues, like health care, but Trump doesn’t even need to win a majority of Hispanic voters — he just needs to win a bigger share of them than he or any other Republican candidate has won in the past, and he appears to be doing just that.
FOX News Report:
Polls show Trump’s approval rating among Hispanics is higher than in 2020, and they back him on immigration.
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is enjoying greater support among Hispanics who support him on immigration in the 2024 election than he did as a 2020 presidential candidate, according to a new poll.
A Reuters/Ipsos poll found that Hispanic voters give Trump an advantage over Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Harris on immigration policy, 42% to 37%.
A Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted Aug. 21-28 found that among the broader electorate, 46% support Trump on immigration, compared with 36% who support Harris.
Trump’s approval rating among Hispanics appears to have improved significantly overall compared to 2020. Polls show Harris currently holds a 13-point lead among registered Hispanic voters. The Hispanic vote went to Biden by 21 points four years ago, according to a 2020 Pew Research Center exit poll analysis. According to a 2020 Fox News Voter analysis conducted in partnership with The Associated Press, 35% of Hispanic or Latino voters supported Trump, while 63% supported Biden.
This is a trend that has been observed for several weeks.

Democrats and the media tried to paint Trump as a toxic figure to minority voters, but it didn’t work.
