The House Select Committee on the Attempted Assassination of Donald J. Trump released its final report Tuesday. There were several revelations, but perhaps the most shocking was that a Secret Service agent opened fire on a suspect.

From close range.

And then I completely missed…in 6 separate sessions.

Trump’s second attempt on his life occurred in September 2024 at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, when a man, Ryan Wesley Routh, was found with a rifle near the golf course. I was arrested.

Routh was in him. Shooting location from 1:59am. Mr. Trump arrived at the golf course around 11 a.m. and was on the course for two hours before the Secret Service discovered Mr. Routh during a search.

Unknown to the public, agents apparently saw Routh point a rifle across the golf course and begin firing.

“Investigators first noticed the suspect, later identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, and then noticed the barrel of Routh’s gun penetrating the fence line,” the report states. “The special agent appeared to be within 5 feet of Routh and immediately responded by firing at the suspect.”

“A total of six shots are believed to have been fired. However, the final trajectory is pending an ongoing FBI investigation.”

Secret Service attempts but fails to fire; second attempt may result in assassination

First of all, who is the Secret Service hiring and arming the next president’s details with a “6-0”? If you blindfolded Stevie Wonder, put his head on the tip of the bat, made him spin around ten times and throw a few shots, he would probably hit the guy at least twice.

Heck, Bronny James would hit at least 1 out of 6 on a decent night.

FOX News host Jesse Watters was completely surprised to hear that Secret Service agents had tried and failed to take down the man behind the second Trump assassination attempt.

“He was only five feet away and I missed him.” [Routh] Not once or twice, but six times,” Watters reported. It was so good that he felt it necessary to repeat it.

“He missed six times from five feet,” Watters said. “How can a trained agent who has passed a firearms test miss a target five feet away?”

How does this happen?

They want to know what happened after the Secret Service shot Routh six times without injuring him during the second Trump assassination.

Did his shirt resemble Swiss cheese? We don’t know because there is no indication that the agents were equal. that I’ll finish with a shot of him.

And did that agent then timidly walk up to Routh and arrest him?

In fact, the report praises the agent’s actions. Even if you can’t shoot the ocean with a gun.

“[T]He was diligently scanned by special agents and was successfully scanned. [redacted] “Former President Trump’s comments served as an important line of defense to avert disaster that day,” the report said.

“The special agents’ quick response and decision to fire their firearms in the direction of the threat prevented a potentially lethal or otherwise dangerous scenario from occurring.”

Ah, I see. Only six warning shots were fired.

There’s nothing like patting yourself on the back after failing at the only thing you’re trained to do in those situations.
