As an electronic ink note tablet, Noteworthy 2 It’s one of the best on the market today.
But it’s a significant improvement considering the original reMarkable received a lot of criticism for issues with uploading and loading files.
The reMarkable 2 addressed these issues to become one of the market leaders in its field, and now everyone is anticipating the launch of the reMarkable 3.
That’s because it’s been over four years since the reMarkable 2 was released, and despite its popularity, it’s starting to lag behind its competitors when it comes to certain features like email, calendar, e-book storage, etc. It’s no secret that, although it’s the “world’s thinnest tablet” at just 4.7mm thin, it’s long overdue for an upgrade.
For those of you who aren’t sure what an e-ink note device is, the device features a high-resolution e-ink display that mimics real paper and provides a reflection-free reading experience, just like the Kindle.
But devices like the reMarkable use electromagnetic resonance technology to allow users to take notes, draw, and sketch on a screen as if they were writing on real paper. Users can then easily organize their documents and sync them with other devices. Think of it as a digital notepad that never goes away.
Either way, despite it being a while since the last release, there’s very little actual information to share about the possibility beyond the general impression that the reMarkable 3 is on the horizon.
reMarkable 3: What we know so far
Interestingly, the Norway-based startup Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Since October 2021, it has been linked to new model numbers for the reMarkable 2.
There’s nothing mentioning a reMarkable 3, and no patents have been filed for any new technology or designs related to it yet, leading some to believe the third-generation device is still a long way off.
As a result, there’s currently no information available in terms of actual details – all we’ve seen so far is a fairly extensive wish list compiled by fans across the web who’d like to see some pretty significant upgrades when the reMarkable finally arrives.
reMarkable 3: Our wish list

screen
The 226 DPI resolution display of the reMarkable 2 is sufficient, but we’re not the only ones who would like to see a higher resolution on the reMarkable 3. If it could be increased to around 300 DPI, it wouldn’t be so demanding. Amazon Kindle Scribe and booth.
Given the competition, it’s pretty safe to expect reMarkable to follow suit and feature a display with at least 300 DPI resolution on the reMarkable 3.
Display Lighting
Many reMarkable 2 users have complained that it’s difficult to use the device in dark environments.
A brighter screen, perhaps with an automatic adjustment feature that changes depending on the device’s external lighting or surrounding conditions, would go a long way to alleviating these frustrations.
Either way, it’s clear that this is one of the main challenges reMarkable needs to address with its third-generation device.
Storage and Battery
The 3000mAH battery capacity of the reMarkable 2 already provides users with 2 weeks of battery life, which is very impressive and some might say enough, but if this can be improved further, it can only be a good thing.
In terms of storage, offering more than the existing 8GB of internal capacity is a big plus, especially for the Amazon Kindle Scribe and Kobo Ellipsa 2E Offers up to 32GB.
When will the reMarkable 3 be released?

That’s hard to tell, given the lack of any FCC filings or new patent applications, which means the reMarkable 3 hasn’t even made it into development yet.
However, some believe the reMarkable 3 could be introduced in late 2024 or early 2025, but this is just an estimate.
How much does the reMarkable 3 cost?
Given the questions surrounding the launch, it’s fair to say it’s still too early to speculate on the reMarkable 3’s price.
The reMarkable 2 started at $399 when it launched in 2020, so we’d expect the next release to be priced similarly, but again, this is just speculation at this point.
