Reese Witherspoon lamenting the loss of Her adorable canine companionHank.
The Oscar winner paid tribute to her late black Labrador in an Instagram Story on Tuesday afternoon.
Witherspoon, 48, posted a photo of Hank sitting on a welcome mat at the front door of her home and shared a special message in his memory.
“Hank, I will miss your kind heart,” Witherspoon wrote alongside the photo. “Thank you for being the best family pet and pack leader.”
Witherspoon, a known animal lover and activist, previously revealed that she named her beloved puppy after country singer Hank Williams.
Hank’s death The actress lost her French bulldog, Pepper.She also mourned him in a tender Instagram post.
“Our sweet Pepper passed away yesterday. She was truly an incredibly loyal and devoted member of our family. I am so saddened but so grateful for all the love and comfort she brought to our family,” she wrote. “She is now in doggy heaven, where all the wonderful pets go. I know she is chasing tennis balls, running through fields filled with wildflowers and thriving like a queen.”
