Earlier this year we brought Frank Castle back to TV, but now it’s time for Punisher to return to comics.
Anti-hero holding a Marvel gun is back on the page Punisher: Red Band, No. 5 miniseries from Benpercy (Wolverine) and Julius Ota (Iron Man)). The last time I saw Frank was when he controlled the Hand Ninja Cart in 2023, when his wife was I wanted to live and divorceand later sent to Weirdworld. This new comic sees Frank return to New York without any memories of his past life, but he is still good at taking his life. Like his TV counterpart, this Frank intends to reach some bloody stuff, and his miniseries comes with a “Red Band” label, indicating that there is more explicit content than usual.
“Frank Castle is one of my favourite characters, Punisher It’s a series I’ve been trying to write about for a long time.” Percy. “I lean completely down and push the very limits of my favorite genre: a hairy psychopath. This will be as rough and bloody as it gets. Street-level mayhem is waiting for you.”
Marvel often seemed uncertain about what to do with Frank. Part of it was owed to his Netflix series and the timing of his massive self-assembly on the show weeks or months after mass shooting. Otherwise, it was because of the way the police adopted his symbol and used it to decorate their car. Daredevil: Born again He killed a bunch of Punisher cops to Frank and then faced the subsequent points during that first season.
We’ll see what Frank does Punisher: Red Band It will start on September 10th.
