Quantum Cybersecurity Company QNU Labs has announced the successful completion of its Series A funding round. The startup has raised Rs 60, with the round being led by National Quantum Mission.
The round also saw participation from investors such as Lucky Investment, Speciale Invest, Tenacity Ventures and Singularity AMC.
QNU Labs said the new infusion of capital will be used to expand commercial operations, expand the R&D footprint and deepen the global partnership in quantum safe communications. The funding will also facilitate the deployment of the quantum security platform as QSHIELD, recently announced in the World Quantum Day.
Sunil Gupta, CEO of QNU Labs, said: “This is a strong test of our vision to make quantum-safe security the foundation of the digital world.”
QNU Labs offers quantum safe solutions with quantum key distribution, quantum random number generation products, and post-quantum cryptography. They will be deployed across the defense, critical infrastructure, finance, communications and health sectors.
QNU Labs is one of the few startups in the world and one of the first startups from India. The growing IP portfolio and engineering depth allow you to protect sensitive data from both classic and future quantum attacks.
“QNU Lab represents the purest and pure technology – solving complex and global problems with first principle thinking and long-term beliefs. This round marks a critical milestone for the emergence of India as a serious candidate for QNU as well as global quantum technology.
Funding for the National Quantum Mission in this round shows the government’s intention to nurture its own quantum enterprises and establish India as a global hub for quantum innovation.
“Quantum cybersecurity isn’t just a trend, it’s the need for the digital age. QNU technology is ahead of the curve, and their team is really building something fundamental. We are proud to support this journey.”
