Trump “Who is this total flirt Kamala? Did you see that on TV last night? This guy is going to be president, this guy is going to be president of this country. I don’t think so. Sitting with this guy leaning against a desk, this is tampon tim tampon. This is her first interview… Nobody’s ever seen anything like this.”
Trump’s words ooze sexism, the same tactic he used against Hillary Clinton in 2016: women are always weaker, no matter how qualified, smart or strong they are. Trump himself believes he is always strong, no matter how weak, incoherent or mentally frail he is.
In an interview with CNN, Trump expressed indignation over Kamala Harris’ strong showing. He complained and he attacked. The only thing he didn’t do was offer to sit down with Dana Bash and do an interview.
Donald Trump made this comment about the interview because his interview schedule is filled with right-wing podcasters and Fox News personalities. Trump has had one mainstream interview, which was with Kristen Welker on “Meet the Press.” He did a town hall meeting with Caitlin Collins on CNN, but that was it.
The former president knows he’s losing, and all he can do is stand by and cheer on Kamala Harris. To fail is to be in the most vulnerable position.
