In contrast to Trump’s false claims, Nunes did not debunk any rumors. What Nunes did was abuse his power as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee to leak details of the Mueller investigation and other Trump-related investigations to the then-president.
Devin Nunes is Trump’s co-worker in Congress who has worked to weaken America’s intelligence agencies, and those efforts will continue in his role as an advisor to Trump.
Trump seeks to decimate America’s intelligence capabilities and leave the country vulnerable to national security threats.
