A new poll shows a majority of Americans approve of the way President-elect Donald Trump is handling the presidential transition.
New polling data from Gallup shows that 51% of Americans approve of President Trump’s handling of the transition.
The latest numbers are slightly better than during Trump’s first transition, with 48% of those surveyed approving of his handling of the transition.
President Trump’s inauguration is scheduled for January 20th, but he is already busy responding to global developments, nominating Cabinet candidates, and formulating policy plans.

The endorsement came despite Mr. Trump’s controversial picks for several cabinet positions, including former Congressman Matt Gaetz, who later became a member of the Judiciary. He has withdrawn from being considered for the top position in the ministry and faces numerous allegations of sexual misconduct.
Regarding cabinet selection in particular, 45% of Americans rate President Trump’s selections unfavorably, 36% rate them favorably, and 16% say they are “average.”
Although Trump won the popular vote and achieved a significant electoral victory, he remains at odds with his fierce opponents.
“President Trump’s current transition ratings remain well below those of other recent president-elects,” Gallup said. “Every president-elect since Bill Clinton has had a transition approval rating of at least 61%, and each has had approval ratings more than 30 points higher than disapproval.”
Gallup conducted the survey from December 2nd to 18th.
On the other hand, according to the latest Gallup poll, show President Joe Biden, who is about to leave office, has an approval rating of 39%.
