Marcia Douglas Born in the UK and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. The author of novels, poetry and essays, she is a recipient of awards and fellowships from recommendations from Creative Capital, National Fund for the Arts, Whiting Foundation and the British Poetry and Book of Poetry. A wonderful equation of fear He appeared at the 2016 Republic of Consciousness Award and the 2017 OCM Bocas Award for Caribbean Literary Award. She is a university professor at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Olive Senior He is the author of 20 books in fiction, non-fiction, poetry and children’s literature. She was a Jamaican Poet Award recipient from 2021 to 2024 and has received numerous awards and honors, including an honorary doctorate from West India University (Jamaica University) and York University (Canada), a gold medal from the Jamaican Institute, a lifetime achievement in the Canadian Matt Cohen Award, an OCM Bocas Award Award Award Award, and a gold medal from Common Commoneweath’. Senior work has been widely translated and taught in schools and other institutions around the world. Her writing is also the subject of many critical essays. She divides her time between Toronto, Canada and Kingston, Jamaica. Once a paradise This is her latest novel.
