Released in November 2022, the Mark II has some notable upgrades over its predecessor, the Canon EOS R6, which led us to give this model 4.5/5 stars in our review. That tells us something.
Upgrades include more megapixels (24MP vs. 20MP), faster shooting (up to 40fps), and enhanced video (4K60 10-bit). The EOS R6 had an issue with overheating, but this issue has been resolved with this model. This $500 discount makes it the lowest price we’ve seen all year.

The body is a fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate shell over a sturdy aluminum chassis with extensive weather sealing. Switching between still image shooting and video shooting is very easy, making it ideal for hybrid shooting.
