In 1930s Puerto Rico, Americans are buying up all the land they can get their hands on. If they don’t get what they want, they take it. Junior Walker wants Pura as his wife, so he sends his men to kidnap her. What he doesn’t know is that Pura already has a husband, Juan Encarnación, a former most feared foreman, and a daughter, Patria. Encarnación plans to fight all of Junior Walker’s men, including his former rival, to get her back.
