Kingston, Jamaica | June 16, 2025 – Jamaica Technology Company Nova Koa Lab It deepens its role in accelerating the country’s digital transformation. The company is currently deploying a wave of integrated projects through government ministries, educational institutions and national security agencies powered by artificial intelligence, virtual reality and cloud technology.

“We see enormous opportunities to leverage the technology we have built to modernize Jamaican systems and services,” he said. Gregory MooreCEO and co-founder of Novacore Labs.

Details of the project remain under the wrap, but the confirmed partners are Ministry of National Security, Jamaican Police Force,and National Works Agencyespecially. These collaborations demonstrate a strategic change for a company that first attracted attention on virtual reality gaming platforms in 2018 and later evolved into a digital innovation leader.

Through the VR-based driving simulation system currently used in schools and transport depots, Novacore has become an important player in the modernization of public infrastructure and education.

“Digital transformation is no longer great. It’s a national priority. Whether it’s a pandemic, disaster or economic disruption, the digital system you want is important,” Moore emphasized.

The company is also working together to promote community education initiatives. West India University Global Campus. This long-term collaboration spans 16 countries and will focus on developing immersive, AI-driven learning tools using virtual and augmented reality (XR) technologies.

“That’s something we’re actively pursuing. We’ll soon share more about it,” Moore pointed out.

Novacole is also increasing the number of internship programs aimed at students in technical and higher education institutions. The goal is to help you gain real-world experience in the field of digital technology and close the gap in skills in the industry.

“We want to create a direct pipeline between the classroom and the innovation economy,” Moore said. “This is one of the most important investments we can make right now for the country and for the youth.”

In another big move, the company launched its first in Jamaica. Google Street View Last year’s car was successful in mapping major tourist areas. Funded by Development Bank of Jamaica and Tourism Expansion Fundthe project is underway. Novacore commercially serves local businesses looking to improve online visibility through street view integration.

With these initiatives, Novacore Labs is doubling its mission to future Jamaican institutions and empowering the next generation of Caribbean innovators.
