Most Americans don’t care what celebrities think about politics, according to a new poll.
For years, leftists have counted on Hollywood liberals to approve them as their spokespeople. We saw this increase significantly during the Obama administration. Barack Obama loved sharing the spotlight with famous actors, musicians, and other celebrities. They will, in turn, bow down for the chance to spend time in President Obama’s White House and have their photo taken with him.
Democrats tried to replicate this with the Kamala Harris campaign, using Oprah Winfrey, Lizzo, and various Hollywood actors. It failed miserably, largely because voters knew that these people did not suffer like average Americans under left-wing policies.
The American people are now making the position of the Hollywood left clear. No one cares what they think.
Breitbart News Report:
Poll: An overwhelming majority of Americans don’t care about celebrities’ political opinions
Americans, especially Republicans, don’t want to hear political opinions from athletes or celebrities, an AP-NORC poll found.
The survey was conducted jointly by The Associated Press and the University of Chicago’s Nonpartisan National Opinion Research Center and was released Thursday.
Just under 40% of Democratic respondents said they support celebrities sharing their opinions on politics, compared to just 11% of Republicans and 12% of independents.
The answers regarding professional athletes are similar: 39% of Democrats approve of the activities of professional athletes, but only 16% of Republicans and 15% of independents agree.
You may remember this chilling moment after the 2016 election, when a bunch of Hollywood liberals begged the Electoral College electors not to confirm Trump as president.
Hollywood begged the Electoral College to overturn the 2016 election
These people are now calling us a threat to “our democracy.”

Thankfully, we probably won’t see anything like that again in the near future.
