journal exegesis and QuadriviumThe latest issues by researchers based at the University of Puerto Rico Humacao (UPRH) and the UPRH Spanish Department are now available on the ISSUU platform. The two issues, 450 and 324 pages respectively, bring together the results of two years of research delayed by the pandemic. Both issues, limited print editions, contain thematic sections, dossiers and portfolios dedicated to New Researchers (master’s and doctoral graduate students) from Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, the United States, Spain and Serbia. The cover and contents feature the work of artist Daniela Morera di Núbila (exegesis) and Francisco Vilchez (Quadrivium). [Also see our post on Cuadrivium.]
The journal is led by Carlos R. Gómez Veras, a professor, editor, and poet who is also Isla Negra Edith [publishing house].

With a history of over 30 years, the magazine has exegesis It aims to realise an editorial philosophy: to retain the traditional concept of the “Academy” as a space strictly divided (compartmentalised and feudal) by the exclusive knowledge of each academic discipline, while becoming a space where visions of reality (convergence and divergence) coincide in the works (creation and research).
