TLC is ringing in the new year with new episodes of the long-running reality show.
Late last week, the cable network announced My 600-Lb. Life returns to normal in Season 13 on January 1st… The new cast of Overweight People lose weight with the help of Houston-based bariatric surgeon Dr. Younan Nowzaradan, who has appeared on the series since its debut in 2012. Work on.

“That’s what I’ve always done,” one cast member says in the first preview of season 13, while another tells viewers:
“I’m trapped in this body.”
Apparently, the aforementioned doctor can also be seen having a serious discussion with one of the patients during the examination.
“Change is up to you,” Dr. Nowzaradan said in the video.

In addition to dramatically changing their appearance, they hope to regain independence, repair relationships with friends and family, and renew their self-esteem.
Meanwhile, on a related note, Lifetime also announced that Dr. Nowzaradan will anchor a new documentary series titled “The 6,000 Pound Diaries with Doctor Now.”
The film follows 10 morbidly obese people who weigh a total of 6,000 pounds and are fighting to lose weight and change their lives.
This 10-episode, two-hour series, set at the Dr. Now medical facility in Houston, includes first-hand diary footage of people who have reached the do-or-die end of their lives.
