MMRFIC Technology Private Limited, an affiliate of Sansera Engineering Limited, has won a significant award in the iDEX Prime X Challenge for its development of a 200 Watt Ka-band Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA) for satellite ground stations. The project, which was announced on November 19, 2024, has a grant of Rs 10 billion from the Defense Space Agency (DSA) under the Indian Ministry of Defence.
Shares of Sansera Engineering Limited were trading 26.35 ₹ (1.81%) higher at 1,483 ₹ on the NSE as of 3:15 pm today.
The Bangalore-based company designs and develops proprietary SSPA modules for satellite ground station transmitters operating in Ka Band. This technology is very important for phased array systems used in satellite communications.

Saravana G, Founder, CEO and CTO, MMRFIC Technology, emphasized that this development is in line with the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. The grant will cover 50% of the product development budget under IDEX’s ‘Prime’ scheme.
MMRFIC Technology was founded in 2014 and specializes in mmWave and RF products for the defense, communications, automotive, and healthcare sectors. The company develops proprietary components and systems for next-generation radar applications that incorporate machine learning and AI for object identification.
