What do you get when you combine Robert Pattinson, Bong Joon-ho, sci-fi, space travel, human cloning, dark humor and a ton of action? Well, from the looks of it, Mickey 17the group’s upcoming sci-fi dark comedy, which promises to live up to expectations in just about every way imaginable.
Trailer Mickey 17 It’s a hilarious series in which Robert Pattinson’s Mickey Barnes discovers there are a few more people like him than he expected on his journey away from Earth. Was he prepared for this fate? Yes, but that doesn’t make it any better.

Mickey 17 It is an adaptation of a novel by Edward Ashton. Mickey 7, The film tells the story of a protagonist played by Robert Pattinson who finds himself in a disposable role in the distant future.
In this world, expendables are basically disposable employees who are sent out to do dangerous chores. The catch here is that every time Mickey (or any expendable) dies, they are brought back to life through regeneration – and when they do, they are immediately put back to work.

Oh, and the new version Mickey 17 With no memory of any past events, Robert Pattinson’s protagonist is doomed to multiple lifetimes of boring jobs, awful bosses, general unhappiness, and of course, a lot of brutal death — a darkly comical cycle.
Pitfalls Mickey 17 The film sees Robert Pattinson’s hero wake up to discover he has multiple alter-egos, each with their own ideas about how to survive in the world. This puts Pattinson’s Mickey not only at odds with his “self,” but also with the corporate hierarchy that is trying to eliminate him and all of his alter-egos, and all sorts of madness seems likely to ensue.
Mickey17 is the work of one of the industry’s leading directors, Bong Joon-ho, who has produced popular, award-winning films. The Host, SnowpiercerAnd, of course, Parasites, It won the Best Picture award in 2019.

Along with Robert Pattinson, Mickey 17 The film is filled with a cast of completely ridiculous looking characters, and the trailer gives glimpses of Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo, the latter two of whom appear to be part of a corporate cabal trying to take down Pattinson’s Mickey.
High expectations are high Mickey 17, This makes a lot of sense considering the film’s lead actors and directing team: with a budget of $150 million, they invested a lot of money into this movie, and the trailer shows that their efforts have paid off handsomely.
Mickey 17 The film is scheduled to be released in US theaters on January 31, 2025, but will be released in South Korea a few days earlier. Overall, there’s enough here to consider the film an eventual awards contender, though its early 2025 release date clouds that point a bit.
