Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly has slammed Caitlyn Clark over the WNBA star’s comments suggesting that she is a beneficiary of “white privilege.”
Clark’s comments were hidden in a huge document time magazine He wrote the article after the outlet named the Indiana Fever star the 2024 Athlete of the Year.
The column lists a number of statistics that make Clark a superstar. The magazine cited her influence off the court as a generational talent and role model. However, being a liberal outlet, the article also included comments from fellow WNBA stars suggesting that part of Clark’s stardom was fueled by racism.
That includes league MVP A’ja Wilson, who flatly said before Clark’s rookie season that the attention she receives at Iowa State is because she is white.
“It doesn’t matter what we all do as Black women, we’re still going to be swept under the rug,” Wilson said. “That’s why my blood boils when people say this is not a race issue, this is a race issue.”

Caitlin Clark gives in
Of course, Wilson’s comments were mean. Yet, for some reason, Clark relented and admitted, as Time put it, that he was “aware of the racial underpinnings of stardom.”
“I’d like to say I’ve had everything, but as a white person I have privilege,” Clark said. “A lot of the really good players in the league were black players. This league is kind of built on them.”
“If we can value that more and emphasize that and talk about it more and continue to have brands and companies invest in the players that have made this league great, I think that’s really important.”
All of this has led some fans to believe Clark was targeted on the court. because she is white She accounts for her fair share of flagrant fouls committed in the league. 17% songs.

Megyn Kelly clearly felt Caitlin Clarke made a mistake appeasing the “white privileged” crowd. And she expressed her displeasure by replying to comments about X.
Kelly: “Look at this.” counterattacked. “She’s just kneeling down and apologizing for the attention she’s gotten by being white.”
“Self-flagellation. ‘Oh, look at the black players that we really want to celebrate,'” the podcast host added. “Condescending. Fake. Transparent. Sad.”
It’s definitely all of those things. Clark earned his accomplishments through hard work and solid play.
Bitterness from other players in the league is a clear sign of entitlement, and this is why someone didn’t have to answer questions about coming into the league and dominating them in every aspect of the sport. I’ve never had one before.
