Specialist Pharmaceutical Distributor Morris & Dickson has partnered with the Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company (MCCPDC) and the Cost Plus Marketplace to ensure access to critical injectable drugs.
MCCPDC We provide consumers with a wide range of low-cost prescription and over-the-counter medications from our National Pharmacy Board (NABP) certified suppliers.
Cost Plus Marketplace provides direct access to medicines at low cost to hospitals, clinics, surgical centers, university health networks and pharmacies.
Using Morris & Dickson’s large distribution network, the combination of cost and drug business models based on what the company calls “customer transparency, efficiency and affordability” is aimed at alleviating drug shortages by ensuring a stable supply of rare injectable drugs, particularly for acute care providers.
Partners touted as working to improve access to essential medications at low prices for healthcare providers of all sizes, offer flexible options without volume commitment, and streamline the procurement process through the Cost Plus Marketplace platform.
“This partnership will restructure the supply chain of injectable drugs.” Mark Cuban, co-founder of the Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company, said in a statement.
“Together, we’re not just filling the gaps, we’re creating a more transparent, efficient, patient-centric system.”
Jody Hatcher, CEO of Morris & Dickson, explained that partnering with a Cuban company will allow us to set new standards for how we are guaranteed to provide important drug therapy for our patients.

2024, Enavvi, an online pharmacy founded by doctors, has collaborated with the MCCPDC to allow doctors to prescribe medications directly to over 7,000 independent pharmacies and national grocery pharmacy chains via ENAVVI’s digital prescription pads.
A year ago, the two companies joined forces to provide prescription cost transparency that allows Enavvi’s market to provide doctors with real-time cash price transparency directly.
Virtual Care Staffing and Service Company Wheel, mental health platform talk space and diagnostic services company Health Gorilla announced a joint partnership with MCCPDC in 2023.
MCCPDC It is also based in Florida. Health services organization Pharmcorx Pharmacy and high-tech, exposed health to lower consumer drug prices.
Through the partnership, Pharmcorx has become the participating pharmacy for the MCCPDC Team Cuba Card. This allows Pharmcorx patients to access generic and branded medications at MCCPDC prices.
Pharmcorx sells the program to existing customers and a network of local clinics and care practices. Through Expion Health Partnership, the Tech-enabled company has integrated MCCPDC drug prices into its product suite, reducing the costs of specialty drugs.
2023, Avanlee Care, a care coordination company for seniors, has integrated MCCPDC offerings into the AVA app to provide affordable medications to caregivers and their loved ones.
