Liberal media has been running reports that more than 200 former Republican aides endorsed Kamala Harris over Donald Trump.
But these so-called aides are not the political heavyweights they would like you to believe.
Among the sites spreading the story is The Hill, a political news site that remains neutral.
In a post that went viral on its X platform, the outlet announced that “more than 200 aides to George W. Bush, John McCain and Mitt Romney” had endorsed Harris’ campaign.
Their Letter of recommendationThe group said Trump’s outlook was “completely unsustainable.”
“Domestically, we stand to lose another four years of Donald Trump’s chaotic leadership, this time focused on advancing the dangerous goals of Project 2025, which will hurt real ordinary citizens and undermine our sacred institutions,” they wrote.
“As President Trump and his top adviser, J.D. Vance, turn their backs on our allies while kowtowing to dictators like Vladimir Putin, democratic movements abroad will be irreparably endangered.”

But a closer look at some of the signatories makes the whole letter look ridiculous: Some of the people named in the letter were interns who worked on various campaigns going back to 2000.
Perhaps most amusing is the inclusion of Frank Gifford Shorey, who volunteer John McCain’s defeat in the 2000 presidential election.
Another, named Chelsea Henderson, volunteered on McCain’s 2008 campaign, after he won the Republican nomination but lost the popular vote by a large margin to Barack Obama.

Other media outlets reporting this hilarious story include USA Today, CBS News and even The New York Times.
Meanwhile, Trump has garnered endorsements from independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard and mercurial billionaire Elon Musk.
