Becoming a mother is so amazing that Lala Kent has officially decided to give birth for a second time.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star gave birth to her second child on Sept. 3, she shared on her Instagram Story the day after the blessed event.
“My love, welcome to the world,” the Bravo personality wrote alongside audio of adults cheering at the birth of her newborn daughter.
The footage also shows some of the baby’s cries, and Lara added: “9.3.24.”
The 33-year-old announced her pregnancy in March, writing on Instagram that she was “growing baby numbers.”
Speculation quickly flared about who the father of Kent’s baby was, but Kent later revealed that she had conceived her second child through intrauterine insemination (IUI), a procedure in which sperm is injected directly into the uterus, using a sperm donor.
“My life took a totally different turn when I realized I wanted to have more kids,” she told Cosmopolitan magazine in January.
“It was all very weird because everyone was telling me, ‘You’ll find someone,’ and I thought, why would I want more kids and then get other people involved?”
Lala’s latest arrival comes three years after Kent and then-fiancé Randall Emmett welcomed daughter Ocean, and just seven months before the end of their three-year engagement.
“I never thought I’d go down this path,” Kent told Cosmopolitan a few months ago, adding, “I really projected myself into a conventional relationship and starting a family, but now the universe has other plans for me and I’m so grateful that this was an option.”
The reality TV star, who found his sperm donor through a California cryobank, has been pretty open about the process.
She previously said: “I felt I needed to start talking about this because there are women out there who are desperate for children and are just sitting around waiting for a man to come along when there are other ways to get pregnant.”
Speaking on the “Give Them Lala” podcast in March, the host revealed that “appearance is probably the least important thing.” [priority] She called the sperm donor “the top of the totem pole for me,” explaining:
“I hate to say it, but I’m not smart, so I didn’t need them to be super smart.”
Kent, who is excited about having a third child, also opened up about how she found herself pregnant so quickly at the time.
“I never would have imagined having a second baby during my first pregnancy,” she says.
“If I had a little more time, [becoming a mom again]”It really was. Even my fertility doctor was like, ‘I feel like this was just a meeting.’ It was like, ‘Hey, good to meet you. Bye. Bye!’ It was so quick.”
