With the hostess! Lady Bird Cafe owner Mishti Mansoori is gearing up for the holiday season, and to celebrate, she sat down with ET to share her holiday party essentials.
First, Mansouri believes that serving simple and delicious food is the best policy, and he follows that approach at his Los Angeles, California-based restaurant.
“Visitors can expect sophisticated and comforting cuisine, combining beautiful, fresh ingredients to create simple yet delicious dishes,” she says.
Must-have menu: “Short ribs with mashed potatoes, steak frites, seafood risotto, heart-warming soups, and chicken Milanese are seasonal favorites.”
When it comes to decoration, Mansouri embraces the idea that “the more, the merrier.”
“We have an elaborate Christmas tree, fluorescent lights, a traditional color palette, and lots of velvet ribbons, complete with a fireplace and cozy and cozy blankets,” she explains.
Mansouri says that even if you can’t go to a restaurant, you can still feel that way by staying at home.
“Keep your dress code and attire classy. This is the perfect time for furs, beautiful wools and cashmere,” she explains.
And to avoid hosting mistakes, Mansoori recommends prioritizing the needs of your partygoers.
“It’s going to be a cold winter, so make sure you have plenty of ways to keep your guests warm. You should also offer alcoholic beverage alternatives, such as fun mocktails,” she suggests.
