TLC has released a new trailer for season 19 of Sister Wives.
But before we dig into the details, we need to bring out the world’s smallest violin.
Okay. Thank you. Now I’m ready to talk about Kody Brown…
Early on in this preview, Kody is upset about his current living situation, having just married Robyn Brown after Christine, Meri and Janelle. all I have left him at various points over the past two and a half years.
“They all betrayed me!” a panicked Cody whined on air. “I’ve gone mad.”
The scene then cuts to Robyn trying to comfort her hysterical husband, as she confesses to viewers that Kody is “ruining our relationship.”
From there, we see Cody angrily chopping wood and biking furiously around Flagstaff… and Robin can be heard saying:
“I feel like I’m the stupid one who got left behind.”
As rumors swirl that Robyn might actually break up with Cody, Christine makes it clear in Season 19 that she’s done with her ex.
“I can’t be friendly,” she says in the promo.
However, the former spouses end up coming face to face as footage shows Kody and Robyn standing at what appears to be a gender reveal party with Kody and Kristin’s daughter, Isabel Brown.
Christine just stands there smiling as she sips her coffee.
What about Janelle, who left Kody in late 2022?
“I don’t miss him enough. It’s really hard,” she tells the camera.
Kody’s first wife isn’t exactly on his side, either.
That doesn’t seem likely, especially considering what Cody told her in what producers revealed in the first trailer for Season 19.
“Let’s completely separate this,” she says in this follow-up video.
Meanwhile, according to a press release from TLC, the tragic death of Garrison Brown will be featured on the show this fall, though most storylines will take place in mid-2023.
Here’s the official description for Sister Wives Season 19, which premieres on September 15th:
Meri has taken her recent decision to split with Kody one step further by filing for a formal “emancipation” (their divorce law) from her ex. Janelle doesn’t want a divorce, she just wants to move forward, which for her means moving away from Flagstaff.
Kristin found the man, David, and within a year, they were on their first date, living together, and had a beautiful wedding surrounded by family and friends in Moab, Utah.
Three of Kody’s wives have divorced, but his fourth wife, Robyn, remains legally married to him.
Now that the Browns have ditched polygamy, Robyn and Kody are facing the challenge together of adapting to being a monogamous couple and a lifestyle they never planned on.
