The preseason College Basketball AP poll for the 2024-25 regular season has been released. The Big 12 includes three of the top five teams in the poll and five of the top 10 teams. Defending champion UConn is ranked third behind No. 1 Kansas and No. 2 Alabama. This is the second consecutive season that the Jayhawks have finished in first place in the preseason.

Kansas enters the 2024-25 regular season with one of the best transfer classes in the NCAA. This season you can also see coach Cal at the University of Arkansas and coach Mark Pope at the University of Kentucky. This year, most teams will kick off the regular season around November 4, 2024.
