Critics slammed Vice President Kamala Harris after she appeared to use a fake Southern accent to rally voters at a rally in Atlanta.
It’s unclear how this happened, but Harris, in a clearly nasal voice, proclaimed to the crowd, “You all helped us win in 2020, and we’re going to win again in 2024!”
The star-studded event’s audience was undoubtedly enthralled, unfazed by the obvious pandering.
The Harris campaign also tapped Megan Thee Stallion to drum up support from black voters in Atlanta. Twerking for the vote.
Critics were quick to mock Harris’ new accent, comparing the way she spoke to crowds in Atlanta to the way she spoke to drag queens in Los Angeles.
Kamala Harris, born in California to a Jamaican-Indian college professor family, was talking to drag queens in Los Angeles a week ago and tonight she’s talking to black people in Atlanta.
