As Gateway Pundit readers know, Kamala Harris appears to have embarked on a campaign strategy of hiding from the press that has relentlessly attacked President Trump and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio). Now her campaign is finally being questioned about this plan, and they don’t have a good answer.
Keisha Lance Bottoms, the former Atlanta mayor and current adviser to Harris, appeared on “The Lead with Jake Tapper” after a campaign event in Georgia on Friday to answer Tapper’s question about when the media could expect to hear more about the Democratic candidate. Her response was completely uninteresting.
Lance Bottoms told Tapper that Harris “is a very busy person” as both the candidate and vice president, and that she has already explained her policy positions to voters through fully scripted campaign rallies.

.Jacket Topper I asked Keisha Lance Bottoms, an adviser to Harris, about the lack of interviews with the vice president.
“Jake, she’s been interviewed and I know we and all of you would love to see her sit down on CNN every day and be interviewed, but she’s a very busy person.” https://t.co/NxQeyEeRdV pic.twitter.com/rStxnVn0cV— Alex Thompson (@AlexThomp) September 21, 2024
Tupperware: You covered Harris at a rally in Georgia today, and she’s in Wisconsin tonight, but she’s not doing the usual interviews or answering questions from the press. Why isn’t she doing more interviews where she talks about policy, answers voters’ questions, and answers about how her views on those questions have changed?
Lance BottomsJake, she does interviews, and we and you would love to see her sit on CNN every day and do interviews, but she’s a very busy person. She’s the vice president and she’s the candidate.
We heard her today share her views on these policies. Maybe not in the format that the media prefers. She may not be sitting down for a one-on-one interview, but we heard her today in Georgia talk about where she stands on reproductive freedom.
Why Lance Bottoms’ excuses are so stupid: As Axios previously stated ReportedDespite both Republican candidates working grueling schedules, Trump and Vance have given 73 interviews with the media since July 21st.
But the Harris/Waltz combination Seven Combined, that’s less than one case per week.
If Harris is stressed by her current workload, perhaps she should step down as “vice president” or even drop out of the presidential race, but she won’t.
Instead, she expects American voters to foolishly elect a liberal con man. Public Opinion Poll Here’s an indication that this might work.
