It’s great, but it’s true:
Kailyn Lowry made his debut on MTV 15 years ago this month.
In honor of this milestone, the longtime teenage moms 2 cast members sat down at People Magazine to look back at the 10.5 years in the spotlight.

“I went to mtv.com and they said, ‘Cast now.’ So I sent me a quick brief summary of my story, and the rest was history.” Laurie tells this publicationexplains the simple process necessary to change her life forever.
Laurie went on to give birth seven times overall, as viewers first met Kailyn, who was pregnant with her first child.
She left Mama 2, a teenager in 2022. At least in part, she may have caught her cheating on Kailyn recently, knowing that she was pregnant by her then-fianced fiance, Elijah Scott.
Laurie also explains that to those who felt she had “pidove holed” by how she was portrayed in the program, she chose what she shared according to the way she was edited, and then explained how fans would respond to her choices.

“I just built this house and we were doing a variety of things that we couldn’t tell the full story how we wanted and how it really happened. You’ve been edited by cast members for four minutes. You didn’t want something specific to be shown.
Fast forward a few years, and Laurie has a new career.
She kicked off the podcast’s coffee combo with Lindy Chrisley in 2017…and she added Baby Mama.
At this point, the Killr podcast network consists of Coffee Convos, Vibin’, Karta Thrivin’ and the barely famous Karma & Chaos for Hayters and Cate and Ty.

“It was like rolling the dice and seeing what happened,” Laurie said of that first podcast.
“And it really took off, and to my surprise, I think it was Lindsay’s. I don’t think we knew what had it.
You can make a lot of money through ads with podcasts.
Of course, I can’t say for sure what Kailyn will return home, but at least I can’t afford solid plastic surgery.

Where might she go from here?
“I understand that podcasting may not be forever, so I am always thinking about the next project I can work on.
“I feel like I can’t stay too long. No one knows what will happen, so I created this business brain for me, who knows I already need to work on the next thing while I’m on my current project.”
The former reality star is also thinking far below.
“I want people to continue building their brands to the point where they don’t necessarily remember me as someone as a teenage mom,” Laurie concludes.
“It’s building something in a place where I can take a step back and not every face. I think that will be my goal for the next 15 years.”
