Julian Lewis added another praise to his impressive resume this weekend. The Colorado signer was named high school quarterback of the year by the National Quarterback Club. This was an awareness of his performance in his senior season at Carrollton (Georgia).
Lewis went to social media and expressed his gratitude for his latest achievements. On Saturday, he posted a photo of himself holding the award while standing with three other people in front of the podium at the ceremony. He captioned the post:

This marked another praise from Julian Lewis since signing Colorado. He was also named the Gatorade Georgia Player of the Year in December. This shows the level of talent that Buffalo is reaching for him and what he can offer the program from his freshman season.
Julian Lewis faces critical competition for the role of initiation
Julian Lewis was considered the direct successor to Colorado’s Shedale Sanders after his commitment in November. However, he is currently facing competition from Kaidon Salter, who was bought by the transfer portal this offseason.
However, the quarterback was ready to compete against Colorado. He noted this while announcing a flip from USC to Buffalo. Patmacafee show November.
“It’s a big deal for me when I came after Chedur and saw what he did in Colorado and what he changed,” Lewis told McAfee’s show. “It is definitely a blessing to reach this position.
“Coach Prime has always said that the best guys are going to play. That’s really what I wanted, that was able to compete… I don’t have much fun sitting on the bench, so I want to come to a place where I have the opportunity to play.”
Julian Lewis’ father, TC Lewis, also expressed confidence in his son’s competitive ability. Colorado will provide him with much in the upcoming college football season.
“Julian loves to compete,” said TC Lewis, Julian’s father, “‘Coach Prime’ and Colorado are exceptional what they offer him in terms of development and path to play. ”
Lewis faces tough competition at Kaidon Salter, who has a lot of experience in the college football landscape. He spent his final four seasons at Liberty, threw for 5,283 yards and 59 touchdowns. He only has a one year qualification.
