Johnson & Johnson Medtech In collaboration with a coalition of companies, including Nvidia and Amazon Web Services (AWS), we have announced the launch of the Polyphonic AI Fund for Surgery Fure Surgery Fure for Surgery Fure, in order to invest in projects and research that drive AI-enabled surgical innovation.
The fund will focus on supporting AI models, AI governance, and data engineering and management development.
Initially, the fund will use Johnson & Johnson’s Quick Fire Challenge, crowdsourcing platform to collect applications and award grants to academic and non-academic institutions, developers, startups, researchers and established companies.
Winners will receive financial support, resources and mentorship, including developer workshops and programs from J&J Medtech, Nvidia and AWS Technologies.
Johnson & Johnson Medtech, Nvidia and AWS will select winners.
“The program is intended to mobilize through 2026, including grants from Johnson & Johnson Medtech and/or access to computing tools, technology stacks, solutions, and compliance datasets from Johnson & Johnson Medtech and its partner network,” Johnson & Johnson said in a statement.

The fund is based on Johnson & Johnson Medtech and nvidia’s Previous collaborations announced last year accelerate the analysis of surgical data through the polyphonic digital ecosystem.
The company has signed a memorandum to speed up AI innovation in NVIDIA’s healthcare platform and J&J’s surgical technology portfolio.
The partnership aims to further enhance AI innovation in the operating room and address challenges associated with increasing surgical learning and proficiency, data privacy, automation of surgical data enrichment, and research and development efficiency.
