John Moxley finally spoke after a controversial finish at AEW Revolution in Dynamite. He definitely walks on thin ice with his fans after the pay-per-view.
In the revolution, the AEW world champion shocked the world by beating Adam Copeland, as well as defeating Christian Cage, after deciding to cash out the guaranteed world title shot he won last year. This has disappointed many fans.
But John Moxley is now speaking, and in a refreshing note he briefly praised Adam Copeland during his promotion, saying that WWE Hall of Fame is rare. But when he went out bashing the coop afterwards, it was about it.
He said he underestimated Copeland’s desires and decided to take it step by step. Moxley then claimed that he was the AEW champion for reasons.
One thing that became clear after this promotion is that Moxley hasn’t been done at Adam Copeland despite how the main event ended with the AEW Revolution. It will be interesting to see how the WWE Hall of Fame inductees respond to this.
