The Vitality Netball Horizon Series is in the final with Jamaica Sunshine Girls’ last-minute goal clinching a 50-49 victory in Kingston.

Jamaica tied the series at home after England beat Manchester 55-47 in the second game and went up 1-0 after a 49-49 draw in the opener.

The Sunshine Girls quickly took a 5-0 lead, but England got into the competition and ended the first quarter with a two-goal lead at 12-10.

Jamaica then extended their lead to three points at half-time, and England leveled the score in the third quarter to keep the game close.

Still three goals behind with one quarter to go, Vitality Roses looked for the winning goal, but Jamaica ran out the clock to seal the moment of victory, leaving no time for Jess Thirlby’s side to fight back.

The final game of the Vitality Netball Horizon series will be held on Wednesday 27th November.

Vitality Roses will next be back in action at home, taking on Malawi, South Africa and Uganda in a four-day tournament to be held across London and Nottingham on 1-2 and 8-9 February 2025.
