Next weekend, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) will visit the road for his third swing in his national “Oligarchy of the Battle: Where to Come From Here.” Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-ny.) will join him. Representatives Greg Casal (D-Tx.) and Stephen Horseford (D-NV.) will also make special appearances.
The tour targets districts that were significantly won by Republicans in 2024 and serves as a pressure campaign to force vulnerable lawmakers to vote against reducing Medicaid, housing, nutrition, education and other basic needs, and to pay more tax credits for the country’s wealthiest people.
At five previous stops on his tour, Senator Sanders hosted over 15,000 people and overflow crowds in four states at the town halls of Omaha, Iowa City, Kenosha, Altoona and Warren. Over 4 million people have been tailored to the live stream. The senator outlined how Americans fight President Trump and Elon Musk. President Trump and Elon Musk are quickly moving the country to authoritarianism, Oliheads and bandits.
Some Democrats do their best to pretend that the situation in the country is business as usual, so progressive and some liberal Democrats are out and organizing American people.
