The Baltimore Orioles series opener against the visiting Toronto Blue Jays has been postponed to Friday due to inclement weather.
Instead, the American League East Rivals will play split admissions doubleheaders on July 29th, scheduled for 12:35pm and 6:35pm
Baltimore and Toronto were scheduled to start their three-game series on Friday as the Orioles set out to be on a nine-game homestand against the Jays, Cleveland Guardians and Cincinnati Reds.
The team opened the season in a four-game series in Toronto, each winning twice.
It was not yet known how the club’s pitching plans would affect them. Orioles’ right-handed Sugano (1-1, 2.89 ERA) was scheduled to oppose Blue Jays’ right-handed Bowden Francis (1-1, 3.18 ERA) on Friday.
