At least 100 people were killed and more than 400 were injured in the attacks. Lebanese authorities said this was The deadliest day in the country This series of fighting has been ongoing since October last year.

Trump wins Arizona: New poll from The New York TimesAccording to a Siena College poll, Republican candidate Donald Trump has a slight lead in Arizona and is maintaining his lead in Georgia, both states won by Joe Biden in 2020. The battleground state to watch now is traditionally Republican North Carolina, where Democratic candidate Kamala Harris is closing the gap with her opponent.
Arizona is particularly interesting because Harris appears to be having problems with Latino voters. The same poll, taken in August, had Harris leading by 5 percentage points. It’s Latinos who seem to be moving away from Harris, but “a significant number, 10 percent, say they’re undecided right now.” Reports of Times. Interestingly, Democratic Senate candidate Ruben Gallego is showing strong support in the area despite Trump’s lead, suggesting that a significant number of voters may split their vote this time around.
Lisbon view: Softcore pro-birth sentiment has been coming from Lisbon airport: If you don’t have a stroller, you can borrow one for free (and leave it at the gate when you board); if you’re traveling with a small child, you can go through special priority lanes at customs, security and passport control; and, in fact, if you don’t have a stroller, you’re adorably angry. do not Listen to what they have to say: prioritizing family is culturally important, and after traveling in Portugal and Cape Verde (a former Portuguese colony), I appreciate how the culture tries in small ways to make the daily tasks easier for families with young children.
