According to an official release, the Union minister lauded the institute’s commitment to sustainable energy and said the rooftop solar power plant is an important step towards environmental responsibility, energy efficiency and sustainable development. .
He pointed out that GSITI’s 150 kW rooftop solar power plant will meet 75% of the institute’s energy needs, save Rs 3 million annually and set a new standard for the use of renewable energy in public institutions.
