US Customs Enforcement Officers in Miami have worked with several Florida law enforcement agencies to arrest nearly 800 illegal aliens.
“In the first partnership between state and federal partners, Ice Miami and Florida law enforcement this week arrested nearly 800 illegal aliens in the first four days of #operationTidalwave.
Some of the arrested “columbian murderers, members of the gang on MS-13 and 18th Avenue and members of the gang on 18th Avenue and the Russians have red notices for manslaughter charges,” White House spokesman Caroline Leavitt said at a White House press briefing Monday morning.
Florida is the only state in the country where all state and local law enforcement agencies in all Florida County participate in ICE’s 287G program. This includes state troopers with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the sheriff’s office, and police departments in all 67 Florida County.
“I think the main reason this operation is important is because it’s the first of its kind,” said Ice Director Todd Lions. I said ABC News. “We are not only doing what we have, but together we have spiked all federal partners along with homeland security investigations and enforcement. [and] There is removal work, which is the executive branch of all ice, but it also uses all 287(g) partners in Florida. We use state, local and county law enforcement to help our business. ”

Of the nearly 800 people arrested, Florida law enforcement officials were involved in the arrest of 275 illegal aliens who received a final removal order from a federal immigration judge.
In response to the operation, Gov. Ron DeSantis said, “Florida is actively working with the Trump administration to lead the country in its efforts to enforce immigration and deportation operations!”
“State police officers, local police officers, county sheriffs. They’re our eyes and ears,” Lions said. “They met these criminal aliens during their normal duties, so they can go ahead and identify the threats to our public safety.”
The Trump administration is first prioritizing the most dangerous criminals for removal, Center Square reported.
Previous ice arrests in Florida were Cuban intelligence officers and violent foreigners who had previously been deported multiple times. These include men from the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico who were arrested for human smuggling and convicted of violent crimes and previously served in prison. It has been reported.
