TV viewers, please brace yourselves.
Kate Gosselin may be returning to the small screen.
According to a new report from In Touch Weekly, the mother of eight hasn’t been feeling very well lately.
She needs money. She needs excitement. She needs a purpose in life.
“She doesn’t date or socialize with friends. Even her nursing job, which paid a fraction of what she earned on Kate Plus 8, didn’t work out.” A tabloid official said. “She is strapped for money and faces the real possibility of having to sell her home in North Carolina.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about Gosselin’s financial troubles.
But with her twins Maddie and Carla living in New York City and her other children in college, observers are wondering why Kate needs such a big house and when she’s sad or in trouble. Are you wondering who to turn to?
“She’s still trying to appear on a new reality show, but the door isn’t open, especially now that she’s portrayed as a crazy mother who locked her son in the basement with zip ties,” In Touch added. . “No one will be surprised if she starts begging for alms.”
It’s true:
Last month, her son Colin told the world that his mother had tied him up and locked him in the basement.
“My mother built a room in the unfinished part of the basement of the warehouse,” the 20-year-old told The Sun.
“Her room had a camera installed and a small window in the corner that was bolted from the outside.”
Colin described the place as a “containment room” and claimed, “There was a mattress on the floor and that’s how I lived.”
Colin recently claimed that Kate sent him to an institution when he was a teenager for so-called behavioral problems, but in reality he was just trying to silence him.
“I know my mom was going through a lot, I mean divorce and a lot of different things that you don’t go through easily,” Colin told Vice TV’s “2000s” in July 2023. He also spoke about this in an interview with “Dark Side”.
“And I like to think that she needed someone to vent her anger and frustration to. And it was just kind of me, you know, I was in the way, but I I was there. That’s why she chose me.”
Shortly after the interview went viral, Kate Gosselin denied all abuse allegations.
Kate said at the time that her son had “undergone multiple psychiatric diagnoses over the years” and had experienced many “seizures and outbursts”, one of which involved “weapons”.
“Due to his past unpredictable behavior and violent tendencies towards us, his brothers and sisters and I are not directly involved in his life.”
Kate concluded: “That’s all I have to say on this matter and I will not be discussing this further at this time.”
A source told In Touch that she has clearly been having financial difficulties recently.
“I feel like if she was a better person, good things would happen, but she’s not and karma is kicking her ass.”
