The N Vision 74 Coupe was Hyundai’s masterful embodiment of its “high-performance vision of electrification” two years ago, and we’ve been dying to see it in action. Now that the car’s inclusion in Hyundai’s plan to launch 21 fully electric models by 2030, that possibility seems that much more likely. This slide (below) is from the company’s 2024 CEO Investor Day presentation, and it lays out the range of vehicles the company will launch, naming the Vision 74 and the Genesis Magma Concept.

The executive did not directly mention N Vision 74. When a slide is shownIn response to inquiries from The VergePublic Relations Director Michael Stewart noted that the slides and video presentation were all the information available at this time.

The Vision 74’s connection to this virtual supercar included a hybrid hydrogen fuel cell system. That said, the announcement didn’t directly relate to Hyundai’s hybrid plans, so whatever form the actual car takes will likely be very different from what we’ve seen so far. Of course, elsewhere in the presentation, Hyundai talked about its plans for an extended range electric vehicle (EREV) that uses a gasoline engine to charge a battery pack, and the company is offering a range of powertrain options “including ICE, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, EV and hydrogen fuel cell vehicle.”
