General Hospital A new episode aired on Monday, April 28th, 2025. In Los Angeles, Sony survived an assassination attempt thanks to Brick, who shot a fake nurse trying to inject drugs. Sonny made a dream come true from his later deceased father Mike. Back in Port Charles, Alexis attempts to explain his commitment paper to Christina, and is blown away between Alexis, Christina and Molly.
Brick saves Sonny’s life by shooting a fake nurse who tried to kill him. During Monday’s episode, Sony unconsciously lay in a hospital bed after the surgery. A woman disguised as a nurse had entered the room, began injecting something into Sony’s IV. Sony woke up temporarily, but passed out again.
Just in time, Brick arrives, seeking the nurse’s ID and pulling out the gun instead, Brick shoots her with a silent weapon. The nurse collapsed on Sony’s feet, Brick asked for a body pickup and moved the situation out of Sony’s room. Carly walked afterwards and was shattered to see the aftermath.
Brick quickly pulls her aside, explaining that he found blood outside the supply closet, realizing that something is wrong, he moves the fake nurse. Jack later arrived after receiving a call from Brick and helped secure the scene. Brick later explained that Sony was sedated and safe.
The scene ended with an unconscious Sony, but Carly sat down at his bedside and released him having survived another attack. Brick’s quick response prevented Sony from being killed in a hospital bed by someone sent to finish his job.
General Hospital: What happened about the commitment paper between Alexis, Kristina, and Molly?
Alexis, Christina and Molly have a big fight after Christina found an unsigned commitment paper for Alexis. In Alexis’s office, Christina demanded that she know why Alexis pulled them up. Molly explains that when Diane’s legal file was confused with her, she accidentally found the paper.
Christina plans to commit, accusing Alexis of secretly thinking she was crazy. Alexis attempted to explain that he created them a few months ago when Christina was struggling, but he didn’t sign or submit it because he saw Christina improve. Christina was unsure, and cried out that Alexis didn’t trust her to take care of her.
Alexis admitted that he was worried that Christina might be pretending not to be doing well. Molly sided with Christina and called out Alexis for controlling the actions that had hurt her for years. Christina jumped out and Molly stayed behind long enough to blow up Alexis before leaving.
After they left, Alexis sat alone and received a mysterious package containing Helena Cassadin’s dagger. The conflict caused the Davis family to break even more, Christina felt betrayed, and Molly lost faith in her mother’s judgment.
General Hospital: What did Sonny and Mike talk about during their dream visits of Sonny?
Sonny and Mike talked about how Sonny wants to leave the mob during his dream visit. While sedating after the surgery, Sonny dreamed of sitting at Kelly’s diner with Mike Corbyn, who appeared behind the counter. Sony asks Mike if he’s dead, but Mike says no to him, but the surgery is successful and this is just a visit.
Sony quickly admitted that he should have been out of the mob years ago. He said what happened to Michael, who was caught in Crossfire, made him realize he needed to leave the business forever. Sonny confesses that he is locked up, and it feels as if he has retreated, and he will become vulnerable, but if he moves forward, more people than he loves will be injured.
Mike reassured him that he had the faith that Sony would understand it. Sonny said Jason wanted it too, but that surprised Mike. The dream ends when Mike tells Sony it’s time to return to his family. Sonny woke up alone in a hospital bed and quietly thanked his father. Then Carly came over to check on him and Sony asked if everything was okay.
General Hospital: What happened to Gio and Tracy regarding the Sonny Pier referendum?
Tracy attempts to convince Gioio to vote against Sony in the upcoming pier referendum by showing her negative article.
At the Quartermain mansion, Tracy pushes Geo to sign up for a vote at Port Charles, giving him a hit portrayal of Sony as a dangerous criminal. Gio read the article and immediately called it fake news, saying it unfairly portrayed Sony. Tracy warned Gio that Sonny’s business isn’t just coffee, suggesting that his proximity to Sonny would only result in prison or death.
in General HospitalGio defended Sonny and said he helped him but wasn’t worth the attack. Tracy claimed that Gio was just doing it by Good Sonny, but he didn’t know the big picture. She explained that she lived in Port Charles.
Tracy tells Geo that he doesn’t want to see him dragged into a dangerous life. Geo then called Emma to talk about how he should respond to Tracy’s warning. Geo was shaken up and he wasn’t sure where he stood about his loyalty to Sony and his future voting.
