Kevin DiCiccoThe man known for creating the dog character Airbud in the movie of the same name, no longer faces homelessness thanks to an outpouring of donations… giving him inspiration to come back.
He told TMZ…an old friend gofundme Once we learned about his situation and we covered his story, donations skyrocketed to more than $11,000. Kevin said he was shocked and grateful for the generosity.
But I’m most relieved that he’s gone. head to the street …They say they expect to receive the funds within the next week.
Kevin said he already has big financial plans, including securing a studio apartment in San Diego, California. He plans to seek medical care after previously telling us about his battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
He is considering a career return, and said another childhood friend who works in the tech industry and has a foundation in honor of his late daughter would like to help as well.
By the way, Bud’s original owner, Kevin, has stated that he would like to develop an app as well…admitting that he already has a concept in his head. He said his app will teach dog owners to train their dogs to master mainstream sports, as was the case with sports enthusiast Buddy, who passed away in 1998.
However, Kevin does not own the rights to the “Air Buds” series, so he has no intention of incorporating the character into this potential project.
Nevertheless, things are certainly improving for animal trainers.
