Glow brighter than the sun! Hilary Duff Aesthetics nurse Anush Movsesian I sat down with ET and shared her best tips on maintaining glassy skin all year round.
A sought-after skincare professional and owner Routine It is booked through 2026 in Studio City, California, in a thoughtful, results-driven way.
“Most of my patients want healthy, shiny skin. Many are interested in reducing thin lines and wrinkles, improving overall skin texture, and for more perfect and make-up applications.”
To master these goals, skin consultants will provide everything in the studio, including injections, lasers, hair removal and more.
“I have an artistic, meticulous approach to filling my lips and balancing my face. I’ve been doing a lot of CO2 laser resurfacing treatments these days,” she says.
And when we enter warm climate seasons, bright days are ahead, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait until the winter (or for the coveted appointment with Movsesian himself) to strengthen your routine.
“While treatment should not be avoided in spring and summer, while your skin is healing, it is important to be keen to limit exposure for the most optimal outcomes and safety of new skin while you are healed, if you choose to receive treatment while in the sun or more frequently,” she explains.
Apart from staying inside and investing in a wide hat or full-face cover visor, it’s always important to protect your skin with sunscreen every day.
“It’s absolutely no to skip SPF on your morning skincare routine. … It’s essential to increase SPF use in warmer months. We also need to focus on daytime hydration, rather than swirling very thick moisturizers and creams,” Injector said.
In between treatments, matching the regimen can also help to extend the glowing appearance.
“You need to apply skin care regularly. … Double cleanse your skin at night, first use an oil-based cleanser to remove makeup and dirt, then use a second round with a gentle cleanser to actually cleanse your skin,” suggests Movsesian.
To make it a notch, family nurse practitioners also recommend incorporating retinol products.
“People are generally afraid of retinol, but the key is to start with mild formulas a few times a week, accumulate to more frequent usage, and eventually accumulate stronger formulas.
