Health Catalysta U.S.-based provider of healthcare data and analytics for care organizations, announced it has acquired Lumeon, a care management automation startup based in Boston and London.
Lumeon’s Care Orchestration technology automates care team events, tasks, activities and workflows with the goal of increasing revenue and reducing staff workload.
Health Catalyst said it will enhance, leverage and make its Lumeon offering more robust with the Health Catalyst Ignite platform, which enables Health’s AI, analytics and data processing capabilities.
The Utah-based company said Lumeon’s expansion into the UK will enable it to expand and pursue opportunities in the region.

In June, Health Catalyst acquired an oncology-focused healthcare technology company. Carevive Systems provides healthcare providers with a platform and data to improve treatment planning, care coordination, clinical trial screening, post-treatment care and remote patient monitoring.
This week, the data and analytics company announced an expanded partnership with nonprofit Contexture, a regional health information exchange focused on improving health data interoperability.
The expanded partnership will enable Context Store’s affiliate, Quality Health Network, to securely share patient data for Colorado-based medical, behavioral and social health service providers, the company said.
The company also announced an expanded partnership with South Dakota Health Link, a service of the South Dakota Department of Health.
Established in 2012, this expanded partnership will allow the organization to further utilize the Health Catalyst application for health information exchange within the state, as well as in Minnesota, North Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska and Iowa.
The publicly traded company released its second-quarter 2024 results on Wednesday, reporting total revenue of $75.9 million compared to $73.2 million in the same period last year.
The company reported a net loss of $13.5 million in the second quarter of 2024, down from $32.6 million in the second quarter last year. Adjusted EBITDA was $7.5 million in the second quarter of 2024, down from $3.5 million at the end of the second quarter last year.
Health Catalyst also reported that it will sign more net new platform subscription clients in the first half of 2024 than in all of 2023, making it the company’s strongest year in terms of net new subscription clients in its history.
