The Hawk Tua girl is trying her best to turn her 15 minutes of fame into at least an hour.
And I have to be honest… so far, it’s been going really well.
For those who don’t know, Hawk Tua’s girl is a 23-year-old named Hayley Welch.
She became a hot topic. Really The Nashville native made waves earlier this summer when she was interviewed for a popular YouTube show and asked about sex techniques that make men go crazy in bed.
Welch, who had probably had a few drinks, made a very distinctive sound (something like a “hawk tuah”) and said, “Spit on that part!”
Her friend joined in laughing at her response.
And Welch was named “Hawk-to-a Girl.”
It gave her an explosion of the kind of fame that’s only possible in the social media age, and it changed her life forever.

Now, in the meantime, TMZ reports “High-profile showrunners and producers” have reportedly been in contact with Welch to discuss how they could create a reality show that would showcase her unique personality.
This isn’t really surprising.
About a month after “Hawk to a Girl” went viral worldwide, Welch appeared onstage in Zach Bryan’s show in Nashville and hung out with Shaquille O’Neal at JBJ’s on Broadway.
She was recently interviewed on the Barstool podcast hosted by influencer Bri LaPaglia and has signed with a talent agency.
Welch also currently has a lawyer and a public relations team, and his manager, Jonny Forster, owner of the Los Angeles-based management company The Penthouse, said his client has recently made about $25,000 from various public meetings and appearances.
“Right now she can make more money lifting cans for five minutes than she made in the whole of last year,” Forster said.
Welch has his own line of Hawk Tua merchandise and plans to move to Los Angeles soon to pursue opportunities in the entertainment industry.
“For the first week, I was super embarrassed,” Welch told The Tennessean about the infamous video and her initial reaction to it.
“I never left the house. I went to work, but that was it. I didn’t go anywhere else. But I went from feeling embarrassed to living in the moment.”
That’s for sure.
“We’re not going to be able to do that,” Welch told LaPaglia on the podcast.
“It’s still going on, don’t worry.”
