With so much news coming out of the 2025 Academy Awards, you may have missed the controversy involving Megan Terraon and comedian Hannah Berner.
With her friends Summer house Star Page De Sorbo, Burner gave an extremely short red carpet interview with Meghan at the Vanity Fair’s Post-Oscar Party.
The entire conversation lasted more than a minute, mainly Hannah gushing about what kind of fan she was.
Still, the response from the public was overwhelmingly negative, and Berner felt the need to apologise.
You can watch the video above. Perhaps you can identify moments when the interview becomes a bit cheating.
Red carpet interviews will be off the rail
“When I want to fight someone, I listen to your music,” Berner said seconds after the interview.
“You want to throw that fight sh-t out the window. You want to be cute and be a bad b-tch.”
Perhaps not picking up the cue, Hanna continues the motif of violence and anger, saying, “When people are talking shit, I’m ‘Flipping your stallion!”

“Like a body, I look beautiful, I look so wonderful,” Megan said with a brave effort to fine-tune the conversation in a more normal direction.
However, Hannah stuck with a strange severity, pointing out that Megan “through so many dark things.”
“I just looked in the mirror and said, ‘Damn, that girl. I’ll go outside and act like that girl,” Megan replied, but once again kept things positive.
As you probably already know, Megan was shot in the foot in 2020 by her ex-boyfriend Tory Lanes. Tory is currently in prison for a crime.
It’s probably one of the “dark” things Hanna was referring to.

But this was an afterparty for Oscars and Megan would have obviously wanted to keep things light. Still, the interview was not a complete train article.
Most people who were critical of the conversation probably just say Hannah can use more media training. But some people went further and denounced the comics Throws racist “micro attacks” at Megan.
Hannah apologizes
Things got so bad that Hannah felt the need to apologize today.
“It was my dream to interview Megan’s stallion. I love her music and whenever I need to build up my confidence before the show, it’s my go-to,” Burner wrote on her Instagram Story. US every week). “Looking back. In the interview, I would like to explain how her song affects me, using other words except “fighting.” ”
“It was a careless choice of words and there was no maliciousness, but I recognize and accept that what I said has a deeper meaning. I am very sorry to Megan. I would like to thank everyone who has brought my attention to this.”
Whatever your feelings about the interview, it is clear that Hannah did not mean any harm, and what she learned from her experience. Hopefully, all involved parties will be able to move forward peacefully from now on.
