Workforce Management Technology Company Hallmark has announced a strategic integration with Carerev, an on-demand workforce platform for acute care.
The Joint Alliance aims to provide immediate access to Carerev’s networks, which have more than 35,000 qualified per DIEM nurse.
Carerev provides access to a flexible workforce by allowing nurse managers to pull from a pool of experienced clinicians who have chosen a flexible work schedule before filling the vacancy in more expensive staffing agencies.
After the internal resources are fully utilized, nurse managers can post to Einstein II (VMS) on a per DIEM shift. There, integrated on-demand experts argue shifts in real time.
Hallmark’s Einstein II platform provides a suite of workforce tools for healthcare institutions, including technology for building and managing internal float pools, as well as vendor management modules that integrate external staffing agencies when needed.
Meanwhile, the company’s internal first staff methodology can help health systems reduce reliance on expensive external staff, leading to a more “sustainable and economical workforce model.”
“This collaboration reinforces the character of helping the health system adopt a more flexible workforce strategy that strengthens internal teams while optimizing the use of external staffing agencies,” Brandon Chamberland said in a statement.
“By integrating Carerev, our hospitals and healthcare systems have a comprehensive platform to handle every layer of clinical staff, full-time, part-time, float pools, travel nurses and in-demand professionals representing the future of today’s medical staff.”
