House Democrat leader Hakeem Jeffries rose on Thursday in support of Medicaid protection.
Jeffries told reporters: “The agreement we reached in relation to Americans needs to protect Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, veteran benefits, and nutritional aid provided to all American and American children and families. We hand over Social Security, Medicare, Pass over Medicaid. That’s not a new position. That’s a position that was clarified by underground Democrats who made clear from the start of this Congress on January 3rd, when I spoke on the floor of the House.

Republicans continue to try to add something like Doge Cuts to government funding bills, and try not to cut Medicaid cuts.
The very simple truth is that Republicans are lying about not cutting Medicaid. Jeffries called those lies.
