“The Woodland is at the heart of everything we do and has been for the past 20 years,” the folk duo said in a statement. “We’ve spent the last four years almost entirely in The Woodland, reviving The Woodland after the 2020 tornadoes and creating this album. The music (songs) are a swirl of contradictions, emptiness, fulfillment, joy, sadness, destruction and permanence of now.”
