Sterling K. Brown, This is Us’ Randall, and series creator Dan Fogelman reunite here. And while the tone and plot couldn’t be more different, this amazing conspiracy thriller is unique in that both shows go back and forth between the present and the past, and both pilot episodes are shocking. It reminds me of This is Us in that it ends with . Sets up the rest of the series. Brown plays Xavier Collins, a Secret Service agent once assigned to the President (James Marsden). The only thing Xavier and Randall have in common is that they are both very smart people. Scenes of the White House are shown in flashbacks, and the present day takes place in a community that looks so sanitary and typical of a small town that the set might have been borrowed from a pseudo-heaven called The Good Place. There is. There’s a big twist in every episode, but what makes this series so intense and gripping is that Julianne Nicholson gives a great performance as the most powerful woman on the planet versus her usual kind-hearted, down-to-earth type. It’s not a spoiler to say that there are. .
‘Paradise’ will premiere on Hulu in the US and Disney+ in the UK on January 28th.
